spring fun has begun!

Wow, do we love magnets or what?!?! We've had a blast learning about magnets this week. Please ask your child what all they have learned. They should know which part of the magnet is strongest, the names of the poles, what magnets attract, what repel means and much more! Get some magnets out at home and learn away!

Texas Round-up

We celebrated Texas' Independence day before the break. We dressed up, made homemade chili, square danced and sampled pecans. We also learned all about our state symbols and made many fun art projects!

We keep on growing!

We have a new friend! And, we love her!!!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

March 2nd is Dr. Seuss' birthday and boy did we celebrate! We had our "Team Time 4th grade buddy" day where Mrs. Dunn's 4th graders come down for the WHOLE day and we read, write, and do art work. We make Cat in the Hat hats, Thing 1 and Thing 2 crafts, Fish art, read over 20 Dr. Seuss books and watched a Cat in the Hat video. We earned a popcorn party from the PTA for collecting so many boxtops (keep them coming!!) so we had a wonderful Friday!
